Curriculum is chosen based upon Archdiocesan goals and objectives and Oregon State Standards. From there, teachers preview curriculum and determine relevance for the Cathedral community. Each teacher uses these guidelines and combines them with Schoolwide Learning Expectations. In faith, Cathedral School students strive to live as Jesus did and love others as He taught. In community, Cathedral School students are taught to consider and respect their teachers, peers, and families when talking, working, and playing. In knowledge, Cathedral School students are constantly challenged. The scaffolding occurring from grade to grade greatly enhances student learning. In respect, Cathedral School students are taught to love God, and their neighbors. Students are responsible for making decisions that affect themselves and those around them. |
