Diane M. Cronin, Ed.D. - Principal Dr. Cronin has been a Catholic Elementary School Principal for 19 years. She has served in rural, urban and suburban schools in Iowa, Nebraska and Oregon. Prior to becoming principal, she was a music teacher and band director for 15 years and has taught in Washington, Nevada, Georgia and Australia. She completed her undergraduate degree in music education from Eastern Washington University, her Master's from Whitworth College in Spokane, and her doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As principal, Dr. Cronin has served and chaired Accreditation teams and is Chair of the Personnel Committee for the Archdiocese of Portland. She has presented to the principals in the Archdiocese, at NCEA conferences nationally, and been a keynote speaker for the Diocese of Fresno Catholic Educators In-Service. She was also a member of Jesuit High School's sponsorship visiting team in 2007. Dr. Cronin is also a wife and mother. Her husband, Dr. John Cronin, is the Director of Academic Research at NW Evaluation Association in Lake Oswego. They have two daughters, one at St. Mary's Academy and one at Jesuit High School.
Susan Hatley
Susan Hatley joined the Cathedral School staff in February, 2002. Her experiences prior to that include working with mainframe computers, office management and volunteering at her children’s school in many capacities, including auction co-chair, scrip coordinator, and Advisory Council President. She and her husband Bob have three grown daughters. Susan’s interests in addition to her family and job include traveling, photography, and enjoying time spent at her family’s hundred year old house in Condon, OR.
Debbie Ackroyd
Debbie Ackroyd is a graduate of Portland State University. Her son Brian graduated from Cathedral in 1998. As a Cathedral parent, she volunteered in many capacities prior to being hired full time in 1993. Presently, Debbie is the Director of Finance and Facilities having the responsibility for bookkeeping, budget collaboration, and day to day financial support. She is extremely dedicated to Cathedral School. She enjoys tennis, volleyball and skiing.
Tracy Niedermeyer
Tracy Niedermeyer has been a part of the Cathedral Community as a parent since 1997 and joined the school staff in 2005 as an instructional assistant. In the summer of 2007 she transitioned into her current position as Development Coordinator. She has supported the school through her work as hot lunch coordinator, Advisory Council member and Parents’ Association President. Tracy is the mother of two boys who keep her very busy.
